Tot School Tuesday - Here We Go!!!



We recently started our Transportation Unit - how fun!  We really like things that GO, especially since Daddy is a helicopter pilot :o)

TRANSPORTATION SENSORY BIN
Black beans and yellow ziti noodles (to make roads)
Assorted vehicles
I have since added some blocks with vehicles on them.
"Scooping beans with a spoon back into the sensory bin. 


CRAFT TIME: Paint with a Car or Tractor's wheels!

Vroom Vroom!  Lots of fun!

And, of course, we had to paint some with our hands too!

We also worked with some of the printables from Homeschool Creations Transportation Preschool Pack.

Looks very fun. A lot of what I see you do reminds me of the Montessori method... Are you familiar with that? Or, is this something that you just gather on your own?

I am somewhat familiar with Montessori; been trying to learn more. I probably fall somewhere between the Montessori method and Charlotte Mason, but I haven't "studied" either method enough to say that is for sure what I do. Since she's only 2 we're just focusing on having fun :o)
