Baby Steps

Baby Steps...
One thing at a time...
Even that is hard at times
Sand sinking beneath my feet
Struggling to keep up
Using everything I have to try to make forward progress

These are the days I have to just STOP
and to reach out to the only one who can carry me forward

Isaiah says about Jesus:
"The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being taught" (Isaiah 50:4)

If Jesus Christ, the son of God, needed to spend daily time with the Father,
how much more must I!

"'Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.
Why spend money on what is not bread,
and labor on what does not satisfy
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the riches of fare.
Give ear and come to me;
and your soul will delight in the riches of fare"
~Isaiah 55:1-3

Tot School Tuesday - On the Road

We were on the road this week, so I put together some activity kits to help pass the time during our 18 hour road trip.  Each activity was placed into a pencil case to keep them organized.  These were inspired by a blog on Counting Coconuts.

Stickers were a huge hit with "M"

These were from the Astronaut and Transportation Preschool Packs on Homeschool Creations.

Weekends are for Weddings

To have and to hold.
To become one.
To love and to cherish.
To respect and to honor.
 To love.
To laugh with...
and cry with...
 A helpmate...
 A protector and provider...
To leave and to cleave.
 A promise.

May God bless you and guide you on your new journey as Mr. and Mrs!
