I can relate!

I just had to laugh as I saw this young chimp trying to get its mommy to get up and play.  Oh how many mornings I feel like that Momma Chimp!  This week has been especially exhausting as I have been trying to get unpacked, the house organized, the lawn mowed and garden planted, and my kids settled and back into a routine after our 6 week excursion, all while battling hay fever.  The kids on the other hand seem to have an endless supply of energy and have been starting their day going 100 miles an hour at the wonderful hour of 0530!  So what do I do when I feel like this Momma Chimp?  I turn to the LORD, the ONLY ONE who can give me REST and carry me through the day.

 "Do you not know?
   Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
   the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
   and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
   and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
   and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
   will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
   they will run and not grow weary,
   they will walk and not be faint."
~Isaiah 40:28-31

Praying you all find strength and rest in the LORD today!

There is a pasture right by our house that I pass when driving home and I always smile when I see those Mommy cows with their babies. I see them nursing their babies and yesterday all the cows and calves were grazing except for one mommy who was bathing her calf while it ate. Just like a mommy which spans through all of God's creatures. :)Thanks for the adorable picture. I can relate too!
