I can hardly believe that my husband's 86 days of leave are already up! We had an incredible reunion and have really enjoyed the quality family time these past few months. The first few weeks we spent reconnecting and getting acquainted with each other again. The girls had no problem warming up to Daddy. In fact, I think they may have warmed up too much to Daddy. At dinner the other night "M" exclaimed, "What do we need Mommy's for? All we need is Daddy."
We spent just over a month traveling out to the East Coast, with stops in New Jersey, Vermont, Niagara Falls (NY), and Kentucky. We were able to visit with lots of friends and family, and although the trip was hectic at times, it was good to see everyone.
When we returned home from our trip we got busy working around the house! I had quite the hunny-do list and many things needed repair. We also decided to rearrange our house and do a major clean-out (something we are still working on). We planted the first of the garden boxes and did some much needed lawn work. This past week we slowed down on the to-dos and worked on getting back into a routine, which including starting back up tot school in our new "school room" with our new curriculum! (More about that on Tuesday)
